Alexander Public School philosophy

The textbooks represent our dedication to maximizing students' time on task. The atmosphere in our classrooms and study halls will be studious. Our students will be challenged intellectually to reach their fullest potential and their academic excellence will be rewarded publicly.

The one room school house represents our dedication to the principles of hard work where a

core curriculum is stressed, where all students feel secure, and where our community members, school board, administrators, teachers, and ancillary staff act as models for our students.

The megaphone, drama masks, and musical note illustrate the importance that extracurriculars play in the personal growth of our students as well as in the spirit and cohesivehess of our community.

But it is our message, "Alex Kids are Number One", that resides at the heart of our educational philosophy, as we tryly believe in the potential and uniqueness of each of our children. All of our decisions will be made with this in mind.
